Freshclub UMY Ready to Assist Fisipol's Students to Conducting Research

FISIPOL Research Club (Freshclub) UMY ready to assist students who wish to carry out research, both in scope within the campus or national scope. It is one of the flagship programs of Freshclub UMY in the period 2016/2017 that newly sworn in on Wednesday (11/30/2016) in the fisipol’s simulation session room.
Angga Faris Saputra, chairman of Freshclub UMY period 2016/2017 said that flagship program will run in the beginning of 2017. “So at the beginning we probably would research first at university level, for example the satisfaction level of students to campus facilities until democracy and politics on campus. After that will be research in greater social scope,” Faris said when contacted via telephone on Wednesday (30/11/2016).
Faris revealed Freshclub will also continue to assist Fisipol’s students in carrying out Student Creativity Program (PKM). “Although the participants from year to year was decreased, Freshclub will continue to encourage students to hone their creativity through PKM which is held every year,” said Faris.
Faris hope that Fisipol’s students can make the research as fun as you playing game, rather than burdensome. “Hopefully, Fisipol’s students more interested in research. Because basicly we as students should always look back and discover new things from the knowledge that we’ve got,” said Faris.
Separately, Dean of Social and Political Sciences, Ali Muhammad, S.IP., M.A., Ph.D hope Freshclub growing and could become a place for Fisipol‘s students to development of interest in research and study. “Freshclub expected to be basis for young researchers in UMY,” added Ali.
